How to remove permanent marker from white board?
Ideally Permanent Markers should be kept well away from Whiteboards, but for those who cannot resist here are a few nifty solutions that we recommend you try.
How to remove permanent marker from white board;
- Using a quality dry-erase whiteboard marker, carefully trace over each & every "permanent" mark you wish to remove
- Allow to rest for 5 minutes
- Clean with a Micro Fibre Cloth or Eraser then follow with Whiteboard Cleaning Spray
You will find that all or part of the offending "permanent" marker is gone if you follow these easy steps.
Remember when it comes time to acquire new boards, Porcelain Whiteboards are easier to clean even when mistakes are made.
Other Methods include:
- Use Methylated spirits then polish with a Micro Fibre Cloth. Follow with Whiteboard Cleaner
- Paint Nail Polish remover or Acetone onto stubborn stains and polish with a Micro Fibre Cloth. Follow with Whiteboard Cleaner. This is an extremely powerful solvent so please use this with care.
